Understanding Ward 8

Ward 8 is a newly created TDSB trustee ward. When the province passed Bill 101, it reduced the number of TDSB trustees from 22 to 12 board-wide — as a result, Ward 8 now combines the former Don Valley East and Don Valley West trustee areas (City Wards 16 and 15) into one ward.
